Reasons to Give
For over thirty-four years, the Environmental Resource Management Program has represented excellence in environmental science and resource management education at Penn State. Our graduates have contributed to the wise use and sustainability of natural resources in Pennsylvania, the U.S., and around the world. The support of ERM alumni and friends is necessary to build upon our record of excellence and enhance our scholarship awards and programs for deserving students enrolled in or planning to enroll in ERM.
How to Give
Penn State offers several easy ways by which you can make a contribution directly to a scholarship fund specifically for ERM students:
- Use the Giving to Penn State online page. To designate your gift specifically to the ERM program, follow these steps:
- Go to the Giving to Penn State online page.
- Select "Other" in the drop-down box named "Please designate my gift to:" (see Example below)
- Designate the amount you wish to give.
- Include the following text in the form field named "Additional Information": "Environmental Resource Management Program"
- Designate a monthly gift ($10.00 minimum) which will be automatically deducted every month from the account of your choice. Go to Penn State's "Giving to Penn State: Electronic Funds Transfer" web page for easy instructions.
- Contact us directly: Please contact Dr. Robert Shannon (814-865-6942; rshannon@psu.edu), ERM Program Coordinator, or Mark T. Sharer, Director of Development for the College of Agricultural Sciences (814-863-1168; mts122@psu.edu).
